Re: Wilson’s Grade Emporium’s Sponsorship Medaille College Sport Management Wiffleball Event
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your recent sponsorship of our event on the campus of Medaille College.
On Sunday, May 3, 2010, we hosted our 5th annual Wiffleball tournament. The tournament saw 12 teams battle it out into the afternoon in double-elimination competition. In all, roughly 60 individuals participated with another 40-50 people watching as spectators. The event was held in the open grassy quad near our residence halls. Teams were treated to a free lunch for their participation and prizes were awarded to our first and second place finishers. In the end, The Professors, a group of 6 of the college’s professors, knocked off Team Wiff by a score of 12-5.
As part of our sponsorship agreement, Wilson’s Grade Emporium provided the event with $25 in cash. In return, we placed the Wilson’s Grade Emporium logo on our event website, which was used to promote the event and to register participants. The website is located at: www.thesportevent.com. Just click on Wiffleball to view the event website.
Additionally, we also made 3 mentions of Wilson’s Grade Emporium over our public address system during the event, acknowledging your sponsorship.
The event was extremely successful, and our participants commented that they had a wonderful time. This would not have been possible without the assistance of Wilson’s Grade Emporium. Thus, I wanted to make sure you received a personal communication from me acknowledging your efforts. Thank you.
Sincerely,
(*hand sign a letter like this in blue or black ink, in this space*)

- Make sure everything that was in the contract as a deliverable is addressed, and make sure it really exists – for example, make sure their logo is on the website; if they were supposed to be on the campus flyers, were they? Verify every deliverable was met
- Use at least 2 photos
- Use MS Publisher because it allows you to lay out the photo placement MUCH better than MS Word
- Save your letter in the format JSmith-320-fulfillment-letter.pub
