Dr. Wilson is the coordinator of the Sport Management undergraduate degree program at Texas A&M – Kingsville (TAMUK). He holds a Ph.D. in Sport Management from The Ohio State University. His doctoral dissertation was titled, “Examining Technology Utilization in Sport Management Curricula and Teaching.”
He teaches courses in Sport Law, Sport Marketing, Sport Event and Facility Management, and Sport Economics and Finance, as well as overseeing student interns.
His scholarly research focuses on pedagogy, technology, and internships in sport management.
Dr. Wilson also holds the following degrees:
- MA in Sport Management (University of San Francisco)
- MFA in Film: Screenwriting (University of Miami)
- BA in Literature and Religion (Point Loma Nazarene University)
Prior to his arrival at Texas A&M – Kingsville in 2010, Dr. Wilson held posts at Medaille College (Buffalo, NY from 2005-2010) and the University of West Georgia (Carrollton, GA from 2003-2005).
