Welcome to Professor Wilson’s sport management website. This site is designed for Professor Wilson’s college students. It contains information for their coursework, including syllabi and assignments, as well as links to other key college information, events and dates, and so on. Students may find information for their courses listed under the “Courses” tab above.
Visitors: this website will give you a sample of the sport management coursework taught by Professor Wilson at Medaille College.
This coursework is aimed to connect theory with practice. Professor Wilson’s emphasis is on practical experience in the educational process, via class activities, service learning, shadowing, and internships. Professor Wilson also aims to expand students’ technological competencies.
His main teaching philosophy is best summed up as, “Ensuring students can secure jobs upon graduation.” If students are not employable, then the education, the student, or both, have missed their mark. For more about Professor Wilson, click the “About Professor Wilson” tab above.Â
